How to Find us
What is alpaca trekking and how does it work?
Alpaca trekking is a relaxing countryside experience where you walk through scenic farmland with a friendly Alpaca at your side.
Is alpaca trekking suitable for everyone?
Yes, our alpaca experiences are ideal for first-timers. No prior experience is needed, we provide a full briefing before every trek, and we are on hand to help throughout.
Can children join the alpaca trek?
Yes, children can go on the trek, but they will need to be accompanied by an adult. The child and the adult will share an alpaca on the trek.
What should I wear for an alpaca trek?
Wear sturdy shoes such as walking boots, and dress for the Cornish weather. We recommend waterproofs and layers in the autum and winter months, as the terrain can be uneven and the weather changeable.
What happens if it rains during my alpaca experience?
We operate in most weather conditions, including light rain. In the event of severe weather, we will offer to reschedule your booking. Please come prepared with waterproof clothing and suitable footwear.
Please make sure you take a look at the weather forecast when booking your alpaca trek to gauge what you should wear.
How long does an alpaca walk last?
Will I get to walk my own alpaca?
That depends on your choice. Guests can choose to walk with their own alpaca, or decide to share one alpaca between two people for the duration of the trek. Either option makes the experience personal and helps you bond with your animal.
- 1 Alpaca Per Person - £25
- 1 Alpaca Shared Between 2 People - £35

Alpacas are naturally gentle and curious. Ours are well socialised, used to being handled, and enjoy meeting new people.
Can I pet or feed the alpacas during the walk?
Yes, there will be opportunities to interact with the alpacas before and after the trek. Feeding is sometimes included, depending on the animals’ needs and the season. We will let you know what’s safe.
Is alpaca trekking accessible for people with limited mobility?
Our trekking routes include grassy fields and uneven terrain, which may not be suitable for all guests. Please contact us in advance to discuss accessibility options, we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
