These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings made through pophamfarm.co.uk for Alpaca Trekking and related experiences. By placing a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms.
1. Bookings & Payments
- Full payment is required at the time of booking via our secure checkout, powered by TakePayments (takepayments.com).
- We accept all major debit and credit cards.
- All transactions are encrypted and processed through a PCI DSS-compliant payment gateway.
- No card details are stored by Popham Farm Alpaca Trekking.
- You’ll receive a booking confirmation by email once payment is successful.
2. Prices
- £25 for one person walking an alpaca
- £35 for two people sharing an alpaca
All prices are in GBP (£). Popham Farm Alpaca Trekking is not VAT registered, so no VAT is added or charged.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
- You may cancel up to 72 hours before your scheduled booking for a full refund.
- Cancellations made within 72 hours of your trek are non-refundable.
- If we need to cancel or postpone due to extreme weather or unforeseen circumstances, you’ll be offered either:
- A rescheduled date (subject to availability), or
- A voucher/code to rebook in future.
4. Changes & Rescheduling
We may need to change the date or time of your booking for animal welfare or safety reasons. If so, we’ll contact you as soon as possible.
5. Safety & Behaviour
To ensure the wellbeing of guests and animals:
- Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
- No dogs are allowed on site.
- Only food provided by us should be given to animals.
- Please wear appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear.
- Walks go ahead in most weather conditions—please dress accordingly.
- Please arrive 10 minutes early and respect your time slot to avoid overexposure for the animals.

6. Accessibility
The main farm area is step-free and accessible. The trek itself includes uneven ground and some steep sections and may not be suitable for those with limited mobility. Please contact us in advance if unsure.
7. Liability
You visit the farm and interact with animals at your own risk. While we do our utmost to provide a safe and enjoyable experience, Popham Farm Alpaca Trekking accepts no liability for injuries, damage, or loss except where required by law.
8. Privacy & Communications
- Your personal information is used solely to manage your booking and ensure a smooth experience.
- We do not store your card details, and all payments are processed securely through a PCI DSS-compliant provider.
- We will never sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
From time to time, we may send you updates about:
- Special offers
- Seasonal events
- Gift voucher promotions
- Alpaca news or farm updates
These communications are entirely optional. You can opt in when booking or by subscribing via our website. Every email includes a clear unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time.
9. Using This Website
You’re welcome to browse the site, read our content, and get in touch, but please use it respectfully and legally.
You agree not to:
- Copy or reproduce our content or images without permission
- Try to access parts of the website that aren’t meant for the public
- Use the site to spam, hack, or otherwise cause harm

We do our best to keep all the information on this website up to date and accurate. That said, we’re human, so we can’t guarantee that everything will always be 100% correct. If you spot something off, let us know.
Prices, availability, and booking information may change from time to time. For anything time-sensitive or important, it’s always best to contact us directly.
